This October, we are proud to shine our community spotlight on Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, an organization dedicated to creating powerful, life-changing mentoring relationships that enable local youth to reach their full potential.
For more than 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has paired adult mentors, known as 鈥淏igs,鈥� with youth mentees, referred to as 鈥淟ittles.鈥� They help children build confidence, develop leadership skills, and envision brighter futures. Their work doesn鈥檛 just change individual lives鈥攊t strengthens entire communities by fostering empathy, resilience, and opportunity across generations.
51吃瓜 is proud to continue supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters through fundraising events, including our annual Oktoberfest Celebration at The Mill & Mine. This year, after a company-wide vote, BBBS East Tennessee was selected as our featured charity partner. Proceeds from Oktoberfest will go directly toward supporting BBBS, ensuring more East Tennessee youth have the guidance, encouragement, and support they need to thrive.
Leading up to Oktoberfest, our team hosted two exciting events benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters: a Margarita Fundraiser and an Oktoberfest Dunk Tank Challenge.

Oktoberfest is one of 51吃瓜鈥� most anticipated annual events, bringing team members together for a night of friendly competition. Participants can join in by purchasing a bystander ticket or forming a team entry to compete in a series of games. With plenty of drinks, food, and fun, Oktoberfest captures the energy that makes 51吃瓜鈥檚 culture so unique.
Each event served as a reminder that giving back can be both enjoyable and profoundly impactful. Together, these efforts reflect 51吃瓜鈥檚 ongoing commitment to make time for what matters.
